Nate Lyman is an avid technologist, apple fan boy, PHP evangelist, and musician originally from Chicago IL.  After graduating Drake University in Des Moines IA with a degree in Management Information Systems and Marketing, he packed up shop and moved to California.

While attending Drake, Nate was IT Manager for 143 Management Services, Cellular Advantage, and Answer Wireless.  Handling everything from help desk, deployment, purchasing, system/network administration, inventory management, extended warranty services, and web development.  While doing everything, Nate found himself rushing through other tasks to get to his web development work.

Currently working at eBay for the Advertising Technology Solutions team, Nate spends his days coding in PHP and leading eBay's Natural Search and Online Comparison shopping technology platforms.  Nate primarily writes back-end PHP code interfacing SQL Databases with 100's of millions of rows.

In is copious free time outside of work, Nate spends his time with his fiance Kate, playing with pet projects, going to the gym, doing something music related, or reading tech blogs.

All of the above get put on hold in the fall to watch the Chicago Bears.
