Tomorrow's Apple event is almost upon us.  Thankfully there are more ways to stay apprised tomorrow at 10am PST.  There are of course tech blogs that will be live-blogging tomorrow, blogs such as Gizmodo, Engadget, Mac Rumors etc...  In the past I have had all three up refreshing constantly.   This event will be no different.  I will be following Twitter hash tags such as #AppleEvent and #Tablet.  The last few events there have been bootleg live audio streams, but it is usually hit or miss on getting to hear the whole event.

Steve Jobs is a modern day Willy Wonka. Instead of Oompa Loompas, there are oppressed engineers, but never the less, the magic is there.  Can any other leader of any organization in the world get the general public this excited?  While I am an admitted gadget nut, my fiance Kate isn't. But she is also excited to follow the live blogs tomorrow. (I got her hooked with the Unibody Mac Book event this time last year).  Ironically, tomorrow is also the State of the Union address.  Barack wishes he could muster this much press and hype.

Apple product announcement are more than a simple product announcement to me.  It is an excuse to talk to friends I don't always make time to talk to.  I exchange texts with friends to share our opinions on Apple's newest creations.  It's that aspect that I cherish the most.  I know for sure, I will wake up stoked tomorrow!

Below is my game plan for tomorrow:

6:30am: Wake up
7:00am: Get to work
7-8:15am: Code and impatiently wait for the bagels to arrive in the break room.
8:15am-10am: Code some more, mmm Bagel(s).
10am-12pm: Code, read live blogs, shake with excitement like a pre-pubescent girl meeting a Jonas Brother.
12pm-1pm: Lunch, transfer my excitement to my unsuspecting co-workers.
1pm-5pm: Meetings
5pm-7pm: Work out and watch the Apple event stream that Apple posts in the Afternoon on my iPhone.
7pm-8pm: Write a killer blog post about the days event.

Places to checkout for coverage:

Gizmodo

Engadget

Mac Rumors

If I find a live audio stream I'll post it on my twitter account. Be sure to follow me. @natelyman

I wish everyone a joyous Apple product launch day.  This is a geeks Christmas.

Nate

PS.  I think twitter may implode tomorrow.
